Army+: A modern service for rewarding the destruction of enemy equipment

Modern digital technologies continue to enhance the efficiency of state services aimed at supporting Ukraine’s defenders. One of the latest initiatives is a service within the Army+ app that allows soldiers to claim rewards for destroying enemy equipment.

This initiative was announced by Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, Digital Transformation, and Digitalization. In her Facebook post, she emphasized the significance of this service for the modern military.

Features of the reward service

The new service in Army+ enables military personnel to quickly and conveniently submit an electronic report to claim their well-deserved rewards for destroyed enemy equipment. An in-app survey among service members, the most popular in the app’s history, gathered input from approximately 18,000 participants who shared their concerns and questions.

How does it work?

  1. The soldier downloads the Army+ app on their smartphone.
  2. Through the service, an electronic report is submitted, providing all necessary details about the combat mission.
  3. The request is processed under modern data protection standards.
  4. The report is approved within 72 hours.
  5. After approval, the reward is transferred to the specified account.

A new stage of motivation and support

The service not only facilitates the receipt of rewards but also aims to eliminate bureaucratic hurdles. As Kateryna Chernogorenko stated, “The state must be a swift and humane service, and the army – modern and efficient.”
